About Summer Bridge For parents seeking affordable summer fun for their children entering 1st-8th grade, DuPage Township is once again offering Summer Bridge Day camp.
Summer Bridge is a part-time, outdoor morning camp on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for schoolchildren entering 1st-8th grade. The 8-week camp runs from Tuesday, June 15 to Wednesday, Aug. 5. Thanks to the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s summer meal program, lunch is also provided.
The fee is $53 per child for the entire 8 weeks. This includes the non-refundable $3 processing fee. We are only accepting online payments. To streamline the process, the registration form opens once payment is complete. Also new this year are the demographic questions on the registration form. We never share anyone’s personal information; we are collecting strictly demographic data.

Tools for School

The Tools for Schools annual back-to-school festival is the first Thursday in August.  A variety of vendors, resources and services will be on hand as well as our backpack and school supply giveaways. This free event is open to all residents of DuPage Township. The block party atmosphere which includes food, fun and activities makes for a festive to start the school year. Through partnerships with the community, the Township is able to provide school supplies for vulnerable families. Each registered student receives a grade-appropriate backpack filled with essential supplies ensuring they begin the school year with the tools needed to be a successful student. Please contact the Township, 630-759-1317 if you would like to donate supplies or funds. All DuPage Township families with children (K-12) who receive services from the Department of Human Services (Medicaid, SNAP) are welcome to register for the filled back packs. Registration for school supplies opens in early July and you must provide proof of DHS services and DuPage Township residency.
