DuPage Township has been honored with:

These awards are a result of the achievements of our leadership and staff:

  • 24,000 families fed through the DuPage Township Food Pantry (8,600 in 2008).
  • 2,800 Thanksgiving baskets distributed to our Township families (800 in 2008).
  • 42,000 Pace Bus rides provided by DuPage Township (12,000 in 2008).
  • Hundreds of families have been assisted through these difficult economic times.
  • Hundreds of children were provided FREE youth services and programs.
  • 10,000 seniors participated in the programs at the Levy senior center.
  • Hundreds of area homes have been saved from foreclosure by the DuPage Township Housing Counseling program (2008).
  • Award-winning Enabling Garden was completed in 2008 with assistance from  State Senator A.J. Wilhelmi (D) and former State Representative Brent Hassert (R)
  • Expanded Township programs by partnering with the local business community to garner funds to
  • Became the first township in over 30 years to eliminate the Highway Commissioner position.

We are proud of our achievements, but we continually strive to 'raise the bar' so we can serve our constituents even better.
