DuPage Township has been honored
with:

These awards are a result of the achievements of
our leadership and staff:
- 24,000 families fed
through the DuPage Township Food Pantry (8,600 in 2008).
- 2,800 Thanksgiving baskets distributed
to our Township families (800 in 2008).
- 42,000 Pace Bus rides provided
by DuPage Township (12,000 in 2008).
- Hundreds of families have
been assisted through these difficult economic times.
- Hundreds of children were
provided FREE youth services and programs.
- 10,000 seniors participated
in the programs at the Levy senior center.
- Hundreds of area homes have been
saved from foreclosure by the DuPage Township
Housing Counseling program (2008).
- Award-winning
Enabling Garden was completed in 2008 with assistance
from State
Senator A.J. Wilhelmi (D) and former State Representative
Brent Hassert (R)
- Expanded
Township programs by partnering with
the local business community to garner funds to
- Became
the first township in over 30 years to eliminate
the Highway Commissioner position.
